My Q&As
What is your role at Forepoint?
My main role is creative thinking and design, with image creation and selection, illustration, constructive input, copy writing, art direction, client liaison and Photoshop work thrown in for good measure.
What qualifications have you attained?
I have a BA Hons in Graphic Design from Preston Polytechnic (now the University of Central Lancashire) along with many other much older bits of paper.
How long have you been at Forepoint?
Longer than I care to remember! I joined the company in 1993 at their original London Office, based in Finsbury Park, in a flat above a noisy bakery. When I'd had enough of city living I moved back up north and joined the rest of the team in Preston, and I've been here ever since.
What is your best quality?
Apart from my creative abilities I would probably count determination as my best quality as it drives me onward when the road ahead looks long and hard.
What is your worst habit?
Where do I start... impatience - my junior school teacher was always telling me to slow down and I have a nasty habit of finishing off other peoples sentences!
