Over 15 years ago, we set out to analyse, formalise, and document our system of working to streamline our operation and provide a quality service, and in May 1994 we achieved accreditation to the UK industry standard BS5750.
We believe that we were the first company in our sector to have attained this recognised standard for quality and performance.
BS5750 was subsequently replaced by the International Standard ISO9001:1994, for which we successfully achieved reaccreditation.
ISO9001 has been through various revisions (1987, 1994, 2000)… the latest incarnation being ISO9001:2008, under which we have been recently assessed and reaccredited throughout the company following a complete review of our documentation.
“Maintaining our Quality System is essential to ensuring a high level of service to our customers”, says Neil, Studio Manager, Preston and the management representative for quality for the company.
“We have a documented set of formal procedures which includes management review, supplier approval, project control, customer feedback, and corrective & preventive actions which provides a framework for dealing with any issues that may arise”.
“All our procedures, and our quality system, are audited for compliance both internally and by external accreditation body every year, which generally keeps us on our toes!”
